For the last for months, I have been using the Audio Technica ATH-M50x headphones for all of my online research, video tutorials and general media consumption. Theses are the latest model of the heavily acclaimed ATH-M50’s which were also a popular choice. I needed to upgrade from a cheap set I have been using for several years, and thoroughly researched before making a purchase. When looking around, I found a heap of positive reviews for the Audio Technica ATH-M50x headphones and decided to give these a go.
The sound quality is amazing. Superior to any other headphones I have used before. Deep rich base and crystal clear across the whole sound spectrum. I’m no audiophile but I am really impressed by the quality of the sound these headphones produce. I use these to listen to music, podcasts, tutorials and watching YouTube. They are perfect for all types of media.
If you are looking for designer headphones, buy a set of Beats! Although the design hasn’t changed in many years, these still look good in my opinion. They come in a few different colors such as white, black and gunmetal grey. The headband is not to tight and is reasonably comfortable. I can have these on my head for a couple of hours at a time without any issues. The AudioTechnica ATH-M50x headphones come with three different length cables, a short 1.2m cable for using with your iPhone or Samsung Galaxy for general music listening on the go, and 2 x 3m cables of which one is a coiled type of cable generally used in the studio. I also love that the cable conects to one side of the headphones to avoid interference and cable clutter. The headphones fold up easily and can be stored in the supplied carry case.
If you are looking for a set of headphones for general media consumption, or are a professional recording in a studio, you will not be disappointed with these headphones. At around $150 on Amazon, I think these are the best value headphones in their price range. The Audio Technica ATH-M50x headphones are well constructed and provide high quality audio that will last for a long time into the future. Do you have a set of Audio Technica ATH-M50x headphones?
